REPORT: MANCHESTER CITY WILL SELL £130,000-A-WEEK PLAYER FOR £60M, TOTTENHAM WANT HIM

Ange Postecoglou’s Tottenham Hotspur will reportedly have to pay £60 million for Manchester City defender Aymeric Laporte.

City, who won the Premier League, the FA Cup and the UEFA Champions League last season, are willing to sell the Spain international defender.

The Could Tottenham Hotspur sign Aymeric Laporte from Manchester City?

In our opinion, Tottenham Hotspur could struggle to sign Aymeric Laporte from Manchester City in the summer transfer window.

Now, while City may be willing to sell the 29-year-old this summer, the Spain international himself may not be too keen on a move to Spurs.

After all, at City, the defender is used to winning the Premier League title season after season and also competing in the UEFA Champions League.

Spurs will not in Europe’s premier club competition next season and are unlikely to challenge for the Premier League title anytime soon.

Now, of course, Laporte is a very good defender who would make Spurs better, but we do not think that a summer transfer would happen.
