Chelsea are set for a very busy summer as they prepare for Mauricio Pochettino’s first campaign in charge at Stamford Bridge.
The Blues confirmed the arrival of Christopher Nkunku on Tuesday with the Frenchman signing a six-year deal upon joining from German side RB Leipzig. Nkunku’s signing has been in the works for months and confirmation of his transfer comes at a time of upheaval at Chelsea after the Todd Boehly and Clearlake Capital ownership group’s first year in charge of the club.
Hakim Ziyech, Kalidou Koulibaly, Edouard Mendy and N’Golo Kante are all set to leave the Blues with others set to follow as Pochettino looks to trim his bloated squad. Kai Havertz is in talks over a move to Arsenal while Mason Mount is a target for Manchester United.
