Kylian Mbappe remains committed to leaving Paris Saint-Germain next summer. The French superstar made it clear he has no intention on signing a new contract at the Parc des Princes Stadium.

After being omitted from PSG’s pre-season squad this summer, the French superstar has now been reintegrated into the senior setup – scoring five goals in his opening three Ligue 1 appearances. Real Madrid remain the favourites to land the 24-year-old but recent reports suggest the France international is open to joining Liverpool next summer – with Mohamed Salah’s future in doubt.

Contract agreement

Kylian Mbappe is ready to give up on a huge loyalty bonus in his Paris Saint-Germain contract, but he has again made clear to the club that he won’t sign a new deal, according to 90min. PSG have continued their push for Mbappe to sign a new deal, potentially including a release clause that would allow his future departure for a set fee – but that is not believed to be under consideration.

Mbappe has agreed to waive an €80million (£68m) bonus that he is due over the course of this season, which would actually mean a saving of €100million (£85m) for PSG.

Liverpool twist

Kylian Mbappe would reportedly be open to the idea of joining Liverpool next summer. The PSG forward has continued to be linked with a move to Merseyside in the last few years and has come close to leaving his current employers on more than one occasion.

A fresh update on the future of the French star by L’Equipe via GFFN has stated Liverpool remains an option for Mbappe and that the player could be tempted should a bid be made by the Reds.

Liverpool may well have the funds required to launch a bid of this nature next summer if Jurgen Klopp’s side were to cash in on Mohamed Salah, who remains a target for Saudi Arabian sides. Matching Mbappe’s wage demands would likely prove a tall order, however.

PSG president Nasser Al Khelaifi has told RMCSport that talks have been held with Kylian Mbappe and his family over his future, but he was coy when asked about a new contract. He told the media on Thursday afternoon: “We have had very good discussions with Kylian.

“He’s a magnificent player, as a person and as a professional. We’ve had discussions with the rest of his family. New deal? I don’t want to talk about that. Mbappé is a PSG player.”

PSG may have found their replacement for star man Kylian Mbappe as they continue to step up a move for Eintracht Frankfurt forward Randal Kolo Muani in the final week of the transfer window. According to Fabrizio Romano, the Ligue 1 outfit are confident on reaching an agreement over a deal, with talks set to continue.

Real boss Carlo Ancelotti has given the rest of Europe a boost in the race for Kylian Mbappe this summer. The Italian has confirmed that the Spanish giants are not in the market for any other players right now.

The Frenchman is believed to have ambitions to become a leader with the captaincy one day and it remains to be seen how the decision may impact his future.

New asking price

Paris Saint-Germain are hopeful Kylian Mbappe will stay at the club and sign a new deal, however they have set a new asking price for the 24-year-old superstar should he leave in the next few weeks.

According to Spanish outlet AS, via the Daily Mail, PSG would demand a world record £213million (€250m) fee to let Mbappe leave. Real Madrid are also said to be readying a £103million offer for the France international.

Kylian Mbappe has agreed a deal with PSG over a compensation package that would see the club receive money if he leaves on a free transfer. That’s according to The Times, which claims that the agreement could also see the French forward agree a contract extension in the coming months.

Despite plenty of speculation regarding Mbappe making a U-turn and deciding to stay in Paris, French outlet L’Equipe, via AS, has reported that the player has not changed his mind.

After a disappointing opening day draw to Lorient, PSG have back-tracked and decided that Mbappe will be in the first team squad.

A statement from the club on Sunday reads: “Following very constructive, positive talks between PSG and Kylian Mbappe before game vs Lorient, the player has been reinstated into first team training squad this morning.”

PSG failed to beat Lorient in their Ligue 1 opener, drawing 0-0 at home and playing without Mbappe, Neymar, Renato Sanches, Marco Verratti and a host of other senior stars that have been sidelined. Mbappe watched the game from the stands.

It has been reported that Mbappe has informed PSG that he has no intention of leaving PSG this summer, despite being frozen out of the first team. He turned down a world-record move to Al-Hilal earlier this summer and is currently set to become a free agent next summer after entering the final year of his contract.

PSG reportedly offered Kylian Mbappe a new contract last week in a bid to ensure that they do not lose him for free next summer. It is said that the contract would have a guaranteed exit clause for the 2024 window but the player turned this down.

According to the Daily Record, Major League Soccer has begun exploring the possibility of bringing Kylian Mbappe to the United States. Following their success in persuading Lionel Messi to choose Inter Miami over offers from Barcelona and the Saudi Pro League, MLS executives have sought to shape an innovative deal structure for Mbappe.

The report adds that the American move is both a short and long-term play. When PSG formally placed Mbappe on the transfer market last month the MLS looked to put a swift deal in place.

The League also regards discussions over deal shape as the beginning of a sustained courtship of a future Ballon d’Or winner.

Big PSG call

Paris Saint-Germain have decided to bar Mbappe from training with Luis Enrique’s first-team squad amid continued doubt over his future at the club.

The Ligue 1 champions return to their training base on Monday having spent the last two weeks touring Japan and South Korea. However, Mbappe will be part of the so-called ‘loft’ group ahead of the start of the new season next weekend.

According to PA Media, PSG remain convinced that Mbappe has already agreed to join Real Madrid on a free transfer next summer.

Real Madrid stars Vinicius Jr and Eder Militao have appeared to tell chief club scout Calafat that they wish to see Mbappe join the club. In a video of Los Blancos training, it appears that they said: “We hope he will come.”

It is also said that they added: “Juni, you have to sign Mbappe. You are spending all our money in Ibiza. We’ll no longer have enough for Mbappe.”

Vinicius then says: “Mili, tell Juni to sign Mbappe,” to which Miltao says, “Juni sign Mbappe.”

PSG timeline

Fabrizio Romano has revealed that PSG will make a decision as to if Mbappe plays any part in their first team activities during the 2023/24 season next week. He wrote for CaughtOffside: “There were new rumours on Saturday that Paris Saint-Germain are prepared to bench or even exclude Kylian Mbappe from their squad for the first games of the new season; whilst also continuing their current plan of making the superstar train away from the main group of players.

“What I have been told is that a decision on how to proceed with Mbappe, with regard to training and including him in matchday squads, will be made early next week – probably on Monday.
