In the lead-up to the 2024–25 Championship season, Coventry City is eager to entice the Scotsman across the line to the CBS Arena. Under Mark Robins’ leadership, they advanced to the Wembley FA Cup semi-final and placed ninth in the previous season.

Barron is a player with a lot of potential who Coventry City may consider adding to their midfield.
If the Sky Blues want to finally make it to the Premier League, the Scotland youth international would be a good long-term alternative in the middle of the park. After spending a full year in the top division, Luton Town, who have since returned to the Football League, defeated them on penalties in the play-off final of the previous season.

Then Barron went back to his parent club, and he hasn’t been back since. With 73 appearances in all competitions, two goals, and four assists, he has grown to be one of their most valued assets.
For Coventry City target, what next?
Given their recent success with fellow Scottish star Lewis Ferguson, Bologna may view the young talent as a top target.
If he were to transfer south of the border, he would certainly earn a good amount of playing time with Swansea City and Coventry City, two teams that would provide him an opportunity to play in England.
