BBC pundit issues Dominic Calvert-Lewin training admission after Everton win v West Ham
Dion Dublin believes that Dominic Calvert-Lewin does not even need to train after seeing him in the Everton v West Ham game on 29 October.
The England international scored the only goal as the Toffees secured an impressive 1-0 win away at the London Stadium.
Dublin believes all he needs to do is to stay fit and maintain his form without even needing to go through training drills.
The BBC pundit told Premier League Productions on 29 October at 20:40, “He doesn’t need to train. He needs to get into a purple patch and keep scoring. He’s a top top player.”
Keep him fit
Calvert-Lewin is a superior talent and anyone who’s watched the Toffees will tell you exactly that.
Apart from his physicality, his all round play is also remarkable and he undoubtedly makes players around him better.
Having Beto in reserve also means that they do not need to rush the Englishman whenever he’s not at a hundred percent.
Hopefully, the physios at Everton are giving him some special recommendations in order to keep him fit as his injury record has not been impressive.
It really hurts the manager when he’s got a player in confidence and form but can’t play him because of an injury.
It’s also fair to assume that if Calvert-Lewin is fit, the Toffees will not get relegated from the Premier League this season.
