Bayern Munich transfer news: Jurgen Klinsmann drops Harry Kane-Tottenham bombshell
Jurgen Klinsmann says Harry Kane will secure a transfer from Ange Postecoglou’s Tottenham Hotspur to Thomas Tuchel’s Bayern Munich this summer.
The German legend thinks the ‘deal might be done already’, as he added that what Harry Kane has done for Tottenham is ‘unbelievable’ and ‘incredible’.
If that’s the case, then it’s Levy in a nutshell, and for once, the Spurs faithful will be cheering this possible move, but either way, Klinsmann, who also made a move from Spurs to Bayern Munich, dropped a transfer bombshell and he thinks that Kane is a goner, as he told ESPN.
What’s interesting about all of this is that reports emerged that Kane will ‘stay’ at Spurs if his future isn’t sorted by the time they play Brentford next weekend, as reported by Sky Sports.
Ange Postecoglou is praying for that time to shoot forward as quickly as possible, with Klinsmann sharing his thoughts on this dragged-out transfer saga.
“The same thing happened to me a long time ago,” said Klinsmann. “I know Harry’s background. What he has done for the club is unbelievable and incredible.
“Life is about, especially in football, winning games and trophies. This is the moment now where he has to make up his mind, if it’s his decision, then the deal might be done already.
“But it’s also the club’s decision and that’s where things stand. Spurs, understandably, want a lot of money for him. Bayern, understandably, don’t want to overdo it because they know they could get him for free next year. I think it’s going to go down to the wire. They will probably wait until the end of August, talking back and forth. My feeling is that he will go to Bayern Munich.”
If Levy sells Kane late in the window…
If the under-fire Spurs chairman keeps Kane on board, then his relationship with his own supporters might just repair a small bit.
But, if he ends up selling him, and possibly late in the window, then it will only result in him getting verbal pelters.
It’s understandable if Kane left, he has 12 months left to run on his contract, but to let him go late in the window is just harmful to Spurs and the club’s new manager.
