Liverpool starting line-up and full team news for pre-season friendly against Bayern Munich in Singapore

Liverpool’s new £95million midfield duo Alexis Mac Allister and Dominik Szoboszlai will start a game for the first time together in today’s friendly against Bayern Munich in Singapore.

Mac Allister has featured for 45 minutes in each of the Reds’ previous three warm-up matches this summer while Szoboszlai missed the game against Greuther Furth last week through injury before returning for 35 minutes in the 4-0 win against Leicester City here on Sunday.

And the duo will join Curtis Jones – again selected in the number six role – in a new-look midfield for Liverpool’s latest friendly against Bundesliga champions Bayern in the Singapore National Stadium.

Jurgen Klopp has also opted to select Joel Matip alongside new club captain Virgil van Dijk at centre-back, with Alisson Becker starting in goal and Andy Robertson and Trent Alexander-Arnold continuing at left-back and right-back respectively.
