West Ham are unlikely to follow up their interest in Manchester United and Scotland midfielder Scott McTominay, after they made a verbal enquiry about his services, according to ExWHUEmployee.
The reliable West Ham source shared via his Twitter account that the enquiry showed a clear difference in the clubs’ valuations of the player, and it is unlikely that the East London club will follow up with a formal offer.
McTominay had been named as one of West Ham’s midfield targets this summer by talkSPORT on 21 June, as the club looks to replace Declan Rice, with the Hammers exploring multiple options to strengthen their squad.
