Leicester City midfielder Ndidi favours return to Premier League over Barcelona and Sevilla

Nigeria international Wilfred Ndidi is eyeing a move to the Premier League amid interest from Spanish clubs Barcelona and Sevilla.
According to Foot Mercato, the Leicester City midfielder prefers a move to the Premier League where he has played for most of his career rather than moving to Barcelona or Sevilla.
The two La Liga clubs are said to be interested in signing the Nigeria international in a bid to bolster their midfield but Ndidi’s preference to remain in England might hurt their chances.
The 26-year-old played in the English top flight till last season when Leicester City got relegated to the Championship and has made 192 appearances in the competition, registering seven goals and ten assists.
He is not without suitors from the Premier League as it has been reported that Newcastle and Tottenham are monitoring his situation.
Ndidi is running into the final months of his contract with the Foxes and is free to sign a pre-contract agreement with overseas in January.
The Nath Boys product was not in the Nigeria squad for their November internationals against Lesotho and Zimbabwe due to a muscle-related injury.
