However, Anthony Gordon has since proven them all incorrect by rising to prominence in both black and white. Gordon has had an amazing debut season as a Newcastle United player, and he may be Eddie Howe’s finest player right now. Sadly, they won’t be able to support him at St. James’ Park when he’s wearing an England shirt. This is because he has an ankle injury and will be unavailable for Monday’s friendly versus Bosnia and Herzegovina. He won’t be participating, but one Newcastle United player will.
