Richarlison sends brilliant five-word Everton message after Goodison Park farewell – Goodison News

Richarlison has been active on social media after Everton secured a win against Southampton in the final game at Goodison Park.

The Toffees waved goodbye to the Grand Old Lady with an emotional 2-0 victory against the Saints on Sunday (18 May).

It was Iliman Ndiaye who scored the final Premier League goals in the famous L4 ground as supporters took their seats for the last time.

With a move to the Hill Dickinson Stadium awaiting fans, Richarlison has penned a message to Goodison after the full-time whistle against Southampton.

With all the doom and gloom that surrounded the Merseyside club in recent years under Farhad Moshiri, the Brazil international was certainly a bright spark.

His passion and desire were enough to make him an instant favourite among Evertonians, and his goals certainly increased that affection.

It is fair to say the 28-year-old kept Everton in the Premier League at times before his eventual departure to Tottenham.

A return to L4 could be on the cards for Richarlison in the summer, which would go down extremely well with supporters, especially after his most recent social media exploits.

The ex-Watford man took to Instagram on 18 May to share a brilliant tribute to Goodison Park after its final day of Premier League action.

He said: “I love you, Goodison Park.”

Everton can now be hopeful of Richarlison return

It does feel as if change, across the board, is in the pipeline on Merseyside right now.

The move to the Bramley-Moore Dock arena is one thing, and the upcoming transfer window is certainly another.

David Moyes looks destined to have a busy few months, especially with the likes of Dominic Calvert-Lewin and Beto heavily linked with an exit.

These sorts of attacking departures could prove to represent good news if Richarlison emerges as a realistic target this summer.

The Friedkin Group are bound to want a marquee signing in their first window in charge, and after his love message to Everton, it could prove to be the Brazilian.
