Tottenham dealt Eberechi Eze blow after rival £50m+ deal agreed

Crystal Palace are doing everything behind the scenes to keep Tottenham and Man United target Eberechi Eze at the club this summer, sources have told Football Insider.
Sources say Palace are determined to resist offers for the England international after losing Michael Olise to Bayern Munich for a reported fee of just over £50million.
Football Insider revealed last month (10 June) that Man United and Tottenham are poised to race for Eze in the summer transfer window.
Both clubs are long-term admirers of the midfielder’s talent – which particularly shone through under the management of Oliver Glasner at Palace after his arrival earlier this year.
But in a blow to both sides, it is believed Glasner is determined to keep Eze – as well as defender Marc Guehi – with sources saying “optimism is high” at Selhurst Park about the new campaign.
