Indeed, just this summer we’ve seen Archie Gray sign for Tottenham for £40m, while Ipswich are apparently close to completing a £30m deal to sign Jacob Greaves and Jaden Philogene from Hull.
Likewise, Everton have finally landed Iliman Ndiaye as well, a player who excelled for Sheffield United in the Championship two seasons ago.
However, according to Fabrizio Romano, another in-demand Championship youngster, Jobe Bellingham, will not be following that path quite yet.

Jobe Bellingham to stay at Sunderland after Tottenham and Crystal Palace interest
Taking to X to provide an update on the situation with Bellingham, Romano has dropped the bombshell news that the Sunderland man is staying put for now.

News of Bellingham’s intentions will be a bitter blow to Crystal Palace, who have been interested in the midfielder for some time now.
However, Tottenham will also be shocked by the decision.
Spurs are one of the clubs keen on Bellingham and a £20m deal had been mooted.
But now, it looks like the younger brother of England star Jude is going to remain in the northeast and do his business in the Championship once again.
Sunderland have had a number of issues off the field in recent times but Bellingham has become a shining light for them on the pitch.
Still only 18, Bellingham will be looking at the career path his brother took and he’ll not want to overdo things too quickly.
As we know, Jude took a big money move to Dortmund first before impressing in Germany and earning a mega-money switch to Real Madrid.
