£55m Man City ace Kalvin Phillips is ‘happy’ he’s joining West Ham imminently claims a reporter close to David Moyes.
The Hammers have been battling the likes of Newcastle, Crystal Palace and a host of European clubs to sign Phillips on loan in the January transfer window.
CBS journalist Ben Jacobs stated last week that West Ham were the ‘ones to watch’ when it comes to landing Man City flop Phillips.

Hammers News sources involved in the negotiations revealed West Ham’s chances were being helped by the fact Phillips has a ‘soft spot’ for Hammers boss David Moyes.
And now £55m Man City ace Phillips is ‘happy’ he’s joining West Ham claims a reporter close to Moyes.
Scottish journalist Alan Nixon counts Moyes among his close contacts.

Nixon claims on his Patreon page that Phillips is happy to be signing for the Hammers after being chased by Moyes for two years.
And he states the loan deal between West Ham and Man City will be done ‘shortly’.

Deal done ‘shortly’ claims Moyes confidant
“Kalvin Phillips is happy to sign for West Ham and will complete his loan switch from Manchester City shortly,” Sun journalist Nixon reports.
“Midfielder Phillips has spoken to several clubs about his next short term move and opted for Hammers…
“There is no deal in place to make the switch permanent but that could yet be the outcome if Phillips finds his old form.”
On the face of it some may question whether West Ham really needed another central midfielder. Particularly given their goalscoring issues when without key players.
Chiefly because it could fully unlock Lucas Paqueta and Mohammed Kudus, requiring them to do less defensive work.
