One player who has really emerged this season is Pape Matar Sarr, who barely featured under Antonio Conte last season.
Sarr really hit the headlines with a goal against Manchester United in August but is now impressing regularly as a box-to-box midfield player.
The 21-year-old is still learning his trade in the Premier League and has now been praised by teammate Pedro Porro.
Porro has taken to Twitter to call Sarr ‘my starboy’ after a video of the pair celebrating at full-time emerged.
The pair appear to have struck up a real bond at Tottenham and fans would love to see more of these celebrations moving forward.
Sarr has been a breath of fresh air in the Tottenham midfield and turned in a well-rounded performance against Sheffield United.
The former Metz talent – who cost Spurs £14.5m – registered two key passes, two shots on target, one interception and one successful dribble against the Blades.
We’re seeing Sarr impact the game going forward; he has produced at least one assist and at least one shot on target in each of his four Premier League starts.
That thrust through the middle is proving very valuable for Tottenham whilst he has also shown the intelligence to cover for Porro down the right side.
Sarr appears to have enormous potential and, right now, it looks like Postecoglou is the right man to help him progress.
