Pundit reacts on air after hearing Liverpool exit rumour

Ally McCoist has predicted Jurgen Klopp to stay at Liverpool after hearing rumours that Germany are interested in appointing the Anfield boss.
Speaking on splashsoccer, the pundit dismissed the idea that Klopp could leave his current position with the Reds to take over Germany, who are on the hunt for a new manager.
Hansi Flick was sacked over the weekend as the four-time FIFA World Cup champions were beaten 4-1 in Wolrfsburg by Japan, extending Germany’s losing run to three games, their worst since the 1980s.
With Klopp the best German manager out there, rumours have been rife of the DFB approaching the Liverpool man to potentially take over ahead of Euro 2024.
However, such a move seems unlikely, and McCoist agrees, with the pundit saying: “Wow. I don’t see him leaving Liverpool. I absolutely don’t. I still think he’s got unfinished work at Liverpool.

“He’s in the process of a rebuild. I think he’s very happy there. He’s very content. And I think he would leave himself open to criticism as well, if somebody like Salah stays and he goes.”
Klopp staying at Liverpool now feels like a given
Klopp taking the Germany job will be a rumour that lasts forever, with the Liverpool boss the European giants have to offer and a coach who could be suited to the role.
However, with Germany themselves looking at other candidates and Klopp showing zero signs of wanting to take the position, it seems like a given that the Liverpool manager is here to stay.
Whilst Klopp making the switch could happen in the future, the Germany job will remain out of the Liverpool man’s thoughts for some time, with this season a big one for the Anfield boss.
