Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp is now reportedly trying to convince Sofyan Amrabat to move to Anfield.
According to a report in Viola News, Liverpool are interested in signing Sofyan Amrabat from Fiorentina in the summer transfer window.
The report in the Italian news outlet has claimed that Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has already spoken to Amrabat in an effort to convince the midfielder to move to Anfield.
Liverpool will reportedly soon make a bid for the Morocco international defensive midfielder, who was described as “outstanding” by former Manchester United star Roy Keane on ITV (7:02pm, December 18, 2022)
Manager Klopp has reportedly spoken to the 26-year-old and has explained how he would fit into his Liverpool team.
Amrabat appreciates Liverpool’s interest in him and is flattered that Klopp has personally spoken to him, according to the report.
Liverpool need to act fast to sign Sofyan Amrabat
In our view, Liverpool have to work hard and fast to get a deal done for Fiorentina defensive midfielder Sofyan Amrabat in the summer transfer window.
First of all, the window will close in a matter of days.

There is not much time left.
Secondly, Manchester United are keen on the 26-year-old.
The Independent journalist Miguel Delaney has written in his Reading the Game newsletter (12:31pm, August 18, 2023) that United are keen on Amrabat, adding that the midfielder “has already been persuaded by interest” from the Red Devils.
Klopp personally getting involved in a potential deal for Amrabat is very positive indeed for Liverpool, but let us not forget that Manchester United are a massive club and have huge pulling power.
Amrabat made 24 starts and five substitute appearances in Serie A last season.
The Fiorentina defensive midfielder gave one assist in those matches.
