Report: Spurs are being kept ‘well-informed’ about £55m-rated striker
Replacing Harry Kane is understandably thought to be high on the agenda at Spurs at the moment and over the last couple of days, various publications have backed the North London club to launch a concrete move for Gent’s Gift Orban (The Evening Standard).

Spurs are keeping an eye on Canada’s Jonathan David
CaughtOffside have now revealed that Tottenham are also very much keeping an eye on the situation of David, who found the back of the net 26 times across all competitions for Lille last season.
The report adds that the Lilywhites have already reached out to the Ligue 1 club to find out the details of a potential deal for the 23-year-old but they are yet to make an official offer for the striker.
The outlet alleges that David himself wishes to make a step up to a bigger club and is willing to leave Stade Pierre Mauroy if a deal can be agreed. The publication asserts that the French club value the Canadian international at £55m.
Spurs Web Opinion
David has very similar characteristics to Richarlison and strikes me as a natural fit for a Postecoglou side. However, perhaps Spurs will feel that there is not much value for money in spending £55m on the 23-year-old as there is no guarantee that he will succeed in the Premier League.
