Everton travel to Sunderland on Monday evening, looking to bounce back from the defeat to Tottenham.
Everton were defeated 3-0 by the North London side, but the circumstances of the loss will still sting for David Moyes and Co.
Moyes has already spoken out about decisions against Everton, and his dissatisfaction will only have increased after the Spurs contest.
Everton had an equaliser ruled out, but Tottenham’s second stood, despite a blatant push on Jordan Pickford.

Everton’s loss to Tottenham was packed with controversy, and Moyes will be keeping an eye on the officiating team for the contest with Regis Le Bris’ side.

Thomas Bramall has been appointed as the referee for the contest, with Constantine Hatzidakis and Richard West as assistants and Tony Harrington as the fourth official.
Michael Salisbury has been named as the VAR, and Tim Wood will assist him in those duties.
Bramall’s most notable involvement as a referee in the top-flight was the disallowed goal for Aston Villa’s Morgan Rogers in the final day clash with Manchester United last season.

Bramall has been in the middle for four Everton matches, with two wins, one draw and one loss for the Toffees.
The draw was a 0-0 against Fulham in 2021, and it involved a controversial penalty incident with Blues academy graduate, Antonee Robinson.

The defender handled on the line, after a James Tarkowski effort had rebounded off the crossbar, but it was adjudged to be a natural position.
The result left Sean Dyche’s side in the relegation zone, and the ex-Burnley boss was furious with the decision.
Speaking after the contest, he said: “We can’t get a penalty, you know that.
“We haven’t had a penalty [this season]. I think we’re a bit lost with the handball thing and VAR generally, even though I’m generally a fan of it.”
Everton will surely be livid after finding out that Bramall has been chosen as the referee for the clash with the high-flying Mackems.
They will need to put their concerns to the side, and do their job, but it has the potential to overshadow proceedings.
