Everton manager David Moyes has issued a statement ahead of the Premier League clash against Tottenham Hotspur at the Hill Dickinson Stadium this afternoon.
Everton welcome Thomas Frank’s inconsistent Tottenham side to the new 52,000-seater stadium later today.
Spurs are coming off the back of a dull goalless draw against Monaco in midweek, and that followed a 2-1 defeat to Aston Villa last weekend.
The Toffees, meanwhile, will be keen to get back into the win column after Moyes’ side lost 2-0 to Manchester City.
Writing in his Tottenham programme notes, Moyes issued a rallying cry to Everton supporters.

Moyes made it very clear that he wants supporters at the Hill Dickinson Stadium to be right behind the team today.
“We need energy from the stands,” the Scotsman explained.
“We understand you will still be getting used to different seats and still finding your way around, but we now have more than 14,000 extra Evertonians in here.

“We want you to be heard, we want you to be vocal and we want you to continue to make this start at our new home something we can keep talking about.
“We understand our role is to play well, to continue to make progress and build on a positive feeling around our club. Enjoy the game.”

David Moyes says Everton have now adjusted to Hill Dickinson Stadium
There were concerns about whether the Goodison Park atmosphere would translate to the new ground, but so far, those questions have been answered emphatically.
The Hill Dickinson has been able to harness a furious atmosphere, and when asked if it now feels like home, Moyes admitted he does feel very comfortable there.
“I think we’re all pretty comfortable,” the Scotsman said.
“We’ve won the games [played there] so it’s easier to speak well about it. Generally, I think it is something we have been hoping and waiting on at Everton so now we are there we are so glad we’ve got it.”
