David Moyes could get the ultimate revenge on West Ham next Monday.
Everton boss Moyes’ contract was not renewed by West Ham in 2024, despite him taking the London club to Europa Conference League success.
Everton face Wolves in the Carabao Cup before the Hill Dickinson Stadium clash with the Hammers on 29 September, where Moyes could have the chance to set his former side back tremendously.
The Irons sacked his initial successor, Julen Lopetegui, in January, and Graham Potter was appointed at a similar time to when Everton hired Moyes to return.

Everton are looking to get back to winning ways after the loss to Liverpool, and Moyes has an extra incentive to beat his ex-employers after the way that they disrespected him.

A report from the back page of the print edition of the Daily Mirror on 22 September claims that the London Stadium club have a big decision to make on Potter’s future.
It states that the showdown against the Blues is crucial to his chances of staying the job, meaning Moyes could get him sacked.
Everton’s record against West Ham could save Graham Potter
Everton have a poor record at home against the E20 outfit in recent years, with just two wins in their last six.
The Blues beat the Hammers 4-1 in the Carabao Cup in 2020 and secured a 1-0 win in the Premier League in 2022.
Potter’s side have won just one of their five league matches this season, and were eliminated from the Carabao Cup with a loss against Wolves
Moyes has started the season brilliantly, with two wins and a draw in the first five league games
The clashes between the sides both ended in draws last season, 0-0 at West Ham and 1-1 at Everton
However, the other four matches between the sides at Goodison Park did not go the way of the hosts, with one draw and three losses.
The Blues may have a better time of things against the claret and blue outfit at the new stadium, but that remains to be seen.
