David Moyes expected to hold private Jack Grealish chat after what’s happened at Everton
Everton manager David Moyes is expected to sit down with Jack Grealish this week for an honest conversation.
It has been a solid start to the new season for Everton, who have only lost one of their opening four Premier League games.
Moyes has been able to turn the tide on Merseyside since he made his return to the club back in January.
A lot of positive work was done in the summer, with Moyes delighted by Everton’s transfer business which has transformed the squad.
The biggest addition at Everton is undoubtedly the loan signing of Grealish from Manchester City.
Grealish was named the Player of the Month for August by the Premier League last week following his electric start to the term.
But one journalist thinks Moyes may already have some pointers for the 30-year-old winger to improve on.

The 30-year-old’s quality is there for all to see, with Everton having seemingly landed one of the signings of the summer.
However, speaking on the Royal Blue podcast, journalist Gavin Buckland suggested there is still plenty of room for Grealish to improve.
“I would imagine there will be a conversation at Finch Farm this week between Moyes and Grealish, that says: ‘Listen, Jack. You’re playing really well at the moment. August Player of the Month, but there are occasions where you’re overplaying it.’,” he said.
“At City, you could probably get away with that because you have so much of the ball, but at Everton you do not have the same opportunities. I thought he was guilty of that [vs Aston Villa].”
Erling Haaland was waxed lyrical about Grealish since his move across to Merseyside, with the two still holding a strong bond.
It is fair to say Grealish has caught the eyes of everyone around the league, but he could seemingly still offer even more to this Everton side.

Thomas Tuchel has encouraged Grealish to maintain the form he has shown at Everton in the early stages of the season.
The 30-year-old still leads the way with the most assists (4) in the Premier League this season.
But his biggest test will come at the weekend in Everton’s first instalment of the Merseyside Derby at Anfield.
