Michael Keane says Everton are ‘very lucky’ to have two players who only cost £15m

Following a strong start to the season, Michael Keane has made it clear who the two standouts are at Everton.

David Moyes has created a squad that finally means business after years of frustration at Everton.

There was frustration against Aston Villa in the 0-0 draw, but for all the right reasons, as the Toffees deserved a win.

Everywhere around the club, there are positives at the moment, as Tim Sherwood also praised Everton’s atmosphere.

It’s only good vibes right now, and Keane has pinpointed the two players who make life so much easier for the Blues.

Every player in Moyes’ plans have made some sort of impact so far, but it’s clear that Jack Grealish and Iliman Ndiaye are the key.

This is exactly what Keane thinks, as despite the stalemate versus Villa, the centre-back still praised the wingers to the Everton media.

“I think we’ve got to get the ball to [Iliman Ndiaye and Jack Grealish] as much as we can. They’re our danger men, and we know how good they are,” Keane said.

“They drive us up the pitch, they create chances, they score goals. We’re very lucky to have them, and we need them to keep playing well.”

Although the Blues couldn’t find the net, both players were still making things happen and were a nuisance for Villa’s backline.

Grealish inspired the Ndiaye partnership, as the duo complement each other brilliantly, but it leaves one player in the dark.

Tyler Dibling will find it difficult for game time at Everton despite £35m transfer
Although this is working to a tee under Moyes, it doesn’t reflect entirely well on the new signing, Tyler Dibling.

Of course, the winger is still only 19, so he will need time to be integrated into the lineup, but right now, there isn’t a place for him.

Both wings are covered, and Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall has the number ten role nailed down, as Dibling is yet to appear for the Toffees in the Premier League since his £35 million switch from Southampton.

There’s still plenty of time left in the season, but right now the 19-year-old will struggle for game time with the duo’s fine form.

Dibling had a decent debut, but he’ll have to show a lot more in training to convince Moyes to make a major change at the moment.
