Exclusive: Tottenham close to agreeing Mikey Moore deal

Tottenham are close to agreeing a new deal with teenage sensation Mikey Moore, sources have told Football Insider.
Spurs are working on tying the 16-year-old forward to a professional deal as soon as he turns 17 on 11th August.
Despite the interest, Tottenham are confident of agreeing an extension with the highly regarded striker and have high hopes for the 16-year-old.
Moore has been included in Spurs’ squad for their pre-season tour of Japan and Korea. They face Japanese side Vissel Kobe on July 27th before facing Bayern Munich in Korea on August 3rd.

They then face the German club again at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on August 10th bringing their pre-season to an end.

Moore joined Tottenham’s academy at age eight and has become a regular for both the under-18s and under-21s at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

Last season, he scored 14 goals and provided eight assists in just 12 games for the under-18s, establishing himself as one of the brightest young talents in the country.
Despite his young age, he has made two senior appearances, becoming the club’s youngest-ever Premier League player
Ange Postecoglou is reportedly eager to involve Moore with the first team, recognizing the immense talent he has shown.
Moore has also represented England at the under-15, under-16, and under-17 levels.
