David Prutton amazed by ‘huge’ transfer news at Leeds United after latest signing
David Prutton believes Leeds United have pulled off a “huge” piece of transfer business in signing Joe Rodon from Tottenham in a £10million transfer.
Having been an anchor in the Whites’ solid defence last season, Rodon not only brings skill but also leadership qualities that were sometimes lacking.

The Sky Sports host said: “[Rodon] is one of those out and out leaders, the ones that are there to do the mucky stuff and that is not belying what a decent ball player he is because Joe Rodon is a good player.
“But I think he has also got character in a Liam Cooper mould, something which Leeds have benefited from in recent seasons so having him on board can only be a good thing.
“Joe Rodon knows the place and knows the people. He is not moving countries or anything ridiculous like that but he knows what the expectations are and that is huge.”

The 26-year-old joined the Whites in a separate deal to the one that saw Archie Gray depart to North London for a reported fee rising to £40m.
