The 28-year-old England international will be leaving this summer because he is aware that his future does not lie at Etihad Stadium. Because of Kalvin Phillips’ recent injury problems, Everton should not sign him. It seems sense that they would want to add Phillips from Manchester City to expand their options in the midfield. The 28-year-old is a gifted player with a strong Premier League resume, and the Toffees might benefit greatly from his experience and skill set.
However, the team should hold off on making a deal before committing to one because of serious concerns regarding Phillips’ recent injury history.
