Next week, Connor Barron is reportedly going to make a decision regarding his transfer. Rangers and the Aberdeen midfielder have been connected, with the Ibrox team stepping up their efforts to capture the Scotland junior player. Barron’s deal with Aberdeen ended, and Rangers is hoping to stave off transfer offers from England and Italy to get him.
Even if the athlete is eligible for a free transfer, Aberdeen would still be responsible for a compensation fee for the player’s training and development. Barron is reportedly considering offers from the Championship and Serie A, but he will make a decision about his future next week, according to a Daily Record article. According to reports, Hellas Verona has put forward an offer, while Bologna may also have made a contract offer. Barron is reportedly being pursued by Swansea City, Cardiff City, Plymouth, and Stoke this summer.
Barron might move to a team outside of Scotland, according to the report, for a compensation sum of £500k.
