In response to what Todd Cantwell did during this week’s 5-2 victory against Dundee at Ibrox, Chris Sutton has launched yet another jab at the Rangers player.
The atmosphere at the pitch was pretty somber after Celtic had all but secured the title, but the Gers overcame a 2-0 deficit to win 5-2 in their season-ending home game. Cantwell scored a cross-cum-shot to make it 3-2 before the supporters let loose with wild celebrations.
Additionally, Sutton continued their long-running spat with the playmaker by claiming in his Daily Record column on May 18 that Cantwell’s mindset contributed to Celtic’s victory.
He remarked, “Rodgers will know it’s hard to find leaders like Hart.” To be fair, Celtic has a number of them, which is why they are the champs.
“I consider players like McGregor, Forrest, and Hart to be among the most composed and productive when the chips were down.
