Brad Marchand, who was disciplined by Sam Bennett of Florida, left Game 3 on Friday due to an upper-body ailment. The Panthers are leading the series 3-1; he did not play in Game 4 and will not play in Game 5 in Florida.
Even though he won’t be playing to help the Bruins win, Marchand gave his teammates confidence and added excitement to the game that had a significant impact. According to team footage, the Boston captain congratulated his teammates before to Game 5.
