Breaking news: Four-star running back Isaiah West abandons Kentucky
Ohio State’s Bill Kurelic of 247Sports reports that Isaiah West, a 5-foot-11, 288-pound running back for Philadelphia (Pa.) St. Joseph’s Prep, has decommitted from Kentucky. His allegiance to the Wildcats dates back to March 1.
West is the nation’s No. 11 running back and the No. 204 prospect overall, according to 247Sports, which rates players from 90 to 100. June 7 is when his official visit is expected to occur. The next weekend will mark an official visit to Columbus.
In Kentucky’s 2025 recruiting class, West is the first decommitment. David Washington Jr., a wide receiver signed in 2024, plays with him on the team.
