Tennessee Vols head coach Josh Heupel teased a recruiting story on Wednesday night during Vol Calls that he called one of the most “unique experiences” that he’s had.

Heupel made his first live appearance of the season on Vol Calls on Wednesday night and he was asked about punter Jackson Ross, a native of Australia who has played very little American football.

“Jackson Ross is a special player,” said Heupel. “He’s got some maturity. It’s his first time playing true American
