Pundit speculates West Ham United staff request to officials in 6-0 loss v Arsenal
The West Ham United coaching staff may have requested just three minutes of added time in their defeat to Arsenal.
That is according to BBC pundit Michael Brown, who shared the verdict with the idea that the Hammers would have wanted the match to end as quickly as possible.
The Gunners thrashed their London rivals 6-0 in the Premier League clash at the London Stadium on Sunday (11 February).
“I think West Ham’s bench will have requested that there’s only three minutes of added time,” Brown said BBC Radio 5 Live (3.55pm, 11 February).

It was a dominant display from the Gunners to say the least, with the North London club on top from start to finish. William Saliba got the visitors on their way, with Bukayo Saka (two), Gabriel, Leandro Trossard and ex-Hammers star Declan Rice on target.
All six goals will have hurt the West Ham faithful, but the stunning strike from their former hero Rice will have been the most painful.
The England star, who did receive boos from some of the home supporters, chose not to celebrate despite his superb effort.
It was a disastrous display from the hosts, who really didn’t put up much of a fight as they fell to the shocking defeat.
It shouldn’t take away from their superb season so far, with the Hammers going strong in the Premier League and in Europe, but this will take some time for the players, David Moyes and the fans to recover from.
