EPL: Gary Neville predicts Man City vs Tottenham clash
Former Manchester United captain Gary Neville has said Tottenham could be on the end of a hiding when they face Manchester City this weekend.
Ange Postecoglouâs men lost 2-1 to Aston Villa on Sunday, their third consecutive defeat in the Premier League.
Neville had expected Villa to beat Spurs but was surprised by how well the hosts played.
But he fears the same approach at the Etihad on Sunday could see Spurs ripped apart.
âWeâve got the game next weekend, Manchester City vs Spurs, which will be very tough for Spurs because theyâre quite open.
âI think City could pull them apart if theyâre not careful.
âIt will be interesting to see how Postecoglouâs team set up at City. I donât think theyâll change too much â the way they play is the way they play.
âThat will mean itâs an interesting and exciting game, but they could get a bit of a doing if theyâre not careful and if they donât sort out their defensive work,â Neville said on his podcast.
