Everton submit paperwork with new appointment confirmed

Everton submit new paperwork as behind-the-scenes appointment confirmed
Everton have submitted new paperwork on Companies House in the past 24 hours confirming the “appointment” of Katie Charles at Goodison Park.
The Toffees filed the documents on Thursday 23 November, with Charles being confirmed as a secretary at the club the day previous to that.
Interestingly, Charles has been at Everton in numerous roles for more than five years now and currently has the title of Director of Legal Services, as this update emerges.
It comes at a time when 777 Partners are pushing to get their proposed takeover of the club signed off by the Premier League and the FCA.
With turmoil behind the scenes at Goodison Park, this is one of those things that could have gone under the radar, as the club looks to fight back and appeal the 10-point deduction from the Premier League.
It is hard to imagine what is happening behind the scenes at this moment in time at Goodison Park, with so many different scenarios playing through the minds of everyone.
On one hand, there is the takeover which has been ticking along for months now as 777 Partners looking to finally receive that green light they have been craving to take over officially from Farhad Moshiri.
Then comes the 10-point deduction and the appeal that could be either wiped away, reduced or completely ignored, but a lot of work will go into that.
Just as you thought it was over, along come clubs such as Leeds, Leicester and Burnley all with potential compensation cases which could cost up to £300million.
Where Charles comes into that specifically is unknown, but it is interesting that this paperwork has been submitted at a time when everything appears to be up in the air.
Everyone is desperate for some good news right now.
