Now the 49ers Will Learn who the Real Brock Purdy is

Now the real Brock Purdy has to stand up.
When Brock Purdy won his first 10 regular season starts, critics said he was worse than his results indicated because his overwhelming excellent supporting cast carried him, and there was some truth to that.
Now that Purdy has lost his past three regular season starts, his defenders say that he’s better than these results indicate, because he suffered a concussion during the second loss and he has been without two of 49ers’ best players — Trent Williams and Deebo Samuel. And there is some truth to that as well.
Now the real Brock Purdy has to stand up.
Is he the guy who won his first 10 starts without breaking a sweat, or is he the guy who choked four times in the past two fourth quarters? We’ll find out when the 49ers play the Jaguars on Sunday.
That’s because Trent Williams and Deebo Samuel will be healthy and in uniform for that game. Which means Purdy will have no more excuses. The entire offense will be on the field to carry him like in the past. If Purdy is a good quarterback, he’ll show that in this game.
And it won’t be an easy test for him. He’s going against a Jacksonville defense that can shut down the run and make the 49ers offense one dimensional. In addition. the Jaguars limited the Chiefs to 17 points and the Bills to 20. So Purdy will have his hands full.
If Purdy can go across the country, protect the football and beat the Jaguars, that will be the biggest win of his career. If he loses, he could be out of a job soon.
His career is at the crossroads.
