By Ezra If Deebo Samuel has anything to say about it, he’ll be back in the lineup when the 49ers take the field for their Week 10 game against the Jaguars after the bye week.
The star receiver virtually missed three straight games after suffering a broken shoulder in the first game as the team lost to the Browns in Week 6.

He was released shortly after that first hit and was ruled out for Weeks 7 and 8.
The bye was in Week 9 takes place at have a good time and Samuel told Kay Adams on her show “Up and Adams” that he will return to play against Jacksonville.

“I’m ready to go,” Samuel said.
His assertion is not particularly bold.
While he was out in Weeks 7 and 8, he was expected to be ready to return from a hairline fracture in his left shoulder after the layoff.
By all accounts (i.e.
his own), he’s on track to continue on this timeline.

The team will have an additional practice during the bye weekend, but will not release an official practice attendance report until the Wednesday before the game.
At this point, we’ll have a better indication of exactly how Samuel will progress upon his return.
