Report: Tottenham scout 20-year-old with £86m release clause – Spurs Web – Tottenham Hotspur Football News
90 min have revealed that Tottenham Hotspur are one of several Premier League sides keeping tabs on Valencia midfielder, Javi Guerra, ahead of the January transfer window.
Guerra, who broke into Valencia’s starting eleven last season, is having an impressive season at the Mestalla, with three goals and an assist to his name in nine La Liga matches so far in 2023-24 (Transfermarkt).
According to 90 min, the 20-year-old’s displays have caught the attention of several sides, including Spurs.

Tottenham are looking at Valencia’s Javi Guerra
The report states that Tottenham sent scouts to watch the youngster in action for Spain Under-21s on their 1-0 win against Scotland back in September, with Guerra playing 45 minutes in the victory.
In addition, representatives from Arsenal, Newcastle United and West Ham United have also allegedly scouted the Valencia star over recent months while Manchester United and Barcelona are also thought to be interested in the player.
The publication reveals that Guerra’s current contract with Los Che runs until 2027 and contains a release clause which stands at €100m (£86m).

Over the last couple of transfer windows, Tottenham have shifted their transfer policy and are now moving for the best-emerging talent across the world and that is likely to continue, given that Postecoglou enjoys working with young players. So, it is not surprising to hear that Guerra is on the club’s radar.
