Sporting director delighted by summer signing from Liverpool

Werder Bremen sporting director has lauded the signing of Naby Keita, with the former Liverpool man making his professional debut for the German side yesterday.
Speaking to Bild, Clemens Fritz praised the work Bremen put in to sign Keita, with the Bundesliga official saying: “Naby seems very committed and is very happy, but we shouldn’t talk about him being our saviour.”
True to form, Keita suffered an injury in Bremen’s pre-season preparations, though the midfielder is now back to full fitness as the former Liverpool star came off the bench against FC Koln in a 2-1 win.
Keita’s time at Anfield was plagued with injuries, and a return to Germany was made this summer in hope that the 28-year-old would get over these issues in a league where the midfielder flourished.
With Keita now back to full fitness, every Liverpool fan will be hopeful that the former RB Leipzig star can return to his best, with Bremen seemingly willing to give the midfielder a platform to perform.
Moreover, Fritz’s comments seem to indicate that Bremen are ready to make Keita the star of their squad, and the Bundesliga club will hope to keep the 28-year-old fit in the coming weeks.
Keita can become a superstar again at Bremen if he stays fit
Keita’s career in the last few years has been all about staying fit, and at Bremen, the midfielder will hope to do just that.
Returning to action this weekend is a big step in the right direction for Keita, and for Liverpool fans, they will hope to see the Guniea international playing in Germany on a regular basis.
Indeed, Keita has all the talent in the world to become a superstar again, and Bremen could be the club that will see the midfielder realise his talents once again.
