Adam Aznou’s true feelings about his situation at Everton have just been revealed.

Everton signed Adam Aznou from Bayern Munich in the summer, and he arrived with great promise after a productive loan spell at Real Valladolid the previous season.

However, despite injuries to Vitali Mykolenko at points this year, David Moyes hasn’t given Aznou a single minute for the first team.

Aznou has been made to play with the under-21s a couple of times and was part of defeats to Doncaster Rovers and Bradford City.

Now, it’s just come to light that he could be on the move in January.

Aznou has been an unused substitute all season, with Mykolenko and even James Garner, who is a midfielder by trade, preferred at left-back.

The 19-year-old clearly isn’t happy with his situation under Moyes and is now considering a return to Spain, according to Africa Foot.

It’s claimed Everton will explore a potential loan deal for the youngster, and La Liga outfit Getafe are already positioning themselves in the race to land his signature.

David Moyes has admitted Adam Aznou isn’t ready
Moyes clearly already had a feeling that Aznou wasn’t ready when Everton signed him, as back in July, the Scotsman told the media it would take time to get him up to speed.

“This boy’s a young boy, maybe not quite ready yet,” Moyes said.

“But we hope he will be shortly and yeah we see a lot of good things in him. Technically very good. Athletic. Might need just a little bit to get himself built up and ready for the Premier League.

“So we won’t be putting him under any pressure and we won’t be giving any guarantees to the supporters that he’s going to be seen right away.

“We’ll wait and observe him ourselves but we’ve heard lots of good things about him and we’ve seen what we’ve seen we like, so let’s hope it works out.”

Evidently, after assessing him during training at Finch Farm, Moyes hasn’t seen enough to even play him in League Cup games.
