Jack Grealish has shown some much improved form since joining Everton but his search for an England call-up from Thomas Tuchel goes on.
The 30-year-old winger joined Everton in the summer in search of more regular minutes to help him get back to his best.
Under the watch of David Moyes, there has been a lot to like about Grealish in an Everton shirt as he leads the way with the joint-most Premier League assists.
Paul Merson thinks Grealish should be playing for England but it does not seem as if Tuchel is hearing the calls from across the country.
England are back in action next month with their final two World Cup Qualifier games to be played on the back of their qualification earlier this month.
Tuchel has praised Grealish’s displays for Everton, but the winger has now given him a reason to select him that the German simply cannot overlook.

Everton’s Jack Grealish gives England answer Thomas Tuchel can’t overlook
Alan Shearer is excited to see Grealish play against Tottenham Hotspur on Sunday following his omission against Manchester City.
Grealish has been a key piece to Everton’s 2025/26 campaign but Tuchel has not seen enough to reward him with the national side call-up.

In an interview with the Everton media team, Grealish admitted that he would be more than willing to step up and take a penalty in the World Cup final.
“Yeah, of course! I think it would be a chance to write history. When we were in the Euros final in 2021, I wanted to take a penalty then,” replied Grealish.
“I asked to take one then but I think I was like seventh [in the queue], but yeah, I wanted to take one but unfortunately I didn’t. I would take one definitely.”
Former Manchester United midfielder Nicky Butt is expecting Grealish to make the England squad ahead of the summer.
But the next squad reveal feels hugely important with Tuchel set to fine tune his selection on the back of the World Cup Qualifiers.

Jack Grealish’s career penalty record
Over the years, Grealish has only taken three spot kicks during his time at Aston Villa, Manchester City and Everton.
Only one of those came in the Premier League and that was the penalty he missed for Aston Villa against Sheffield United and Dean Henderson.

So, despite Grealish’s willingness to take a spot kick for the Three Lions, his record may not exactly fill Tuchel with much confidence.
Given Iliman Ndiaye has had no issues from the spot, it is unlikely that Grealish will be handed an opportunity for the Blues.
