Everton table offer – Toffees travel to make bid, personal terms being negotiated
Everton have already set their sights on OGC Nice’s Kojo Peprah Oppong, according to Africa Foot.
The Ghana international moved to Europe when IFK Norrköping signed him in 2023. He played 23 matches for the Swedish club and his performances convinced Nice to sign him in July for a reported €1m.
Kojo Peprah Oppong has quickly settled in at his new club and has already played close to 1,000 minutes from 12 matches. His performances have caught Everton’s attention.
The Toffees are said to be looking to strengthen their defence. They have the centre-back in their target list and Everton are said to have begun negotiations to sign him.
Last weekend, officials from the Premier League club made a trip to France. It’s claimed they held talks with Nice over the possibility of securing the defender’s services. Africa Foot even report David Moyes’ side have tabled an €8m bid.
The Ligue 1 side are willing to sell provided the player finishes this season with them. Everton shouldn’t have a problem accepting this condition.
Africa Foot add Kojo Peprah Oppong’s representatives have discussed personal terms with Everton. It’s said to be a five-year contract worth €2.5m per year.
