Gabby Agbonlahor gives his reasons for Man City destroying Everton this weekend
Gabby Agbonlahor has given his verdict for Manchester City vs Everton, and the pundit can only see the result going one way.
Getting a result away at the Etihad will be a difficult task for the Toffees, and they’ll have to do so without Jack Grealish.
On talkSPORT, Jamie O’Hara blasted the rule that prevents Grealish from playing, and his co-host Agbonlahor agreed with him.
However, the duo then moved on to discuss proceedings for Saturday’s game, and Agbonlahor believes City will win due to one reason.

Gabby Agbonlahor thinks Man City’s style of play will frustrate Everton
Manchester City are known to be good in possession, and Guardiola’s side will be looking to keep the ball for large portions of the game.
The Sky Blues’ tactics of passing it from side to side constantly, waiting for an opening, have often seen them being criticised for their boring style.
However, Gabby Agbonlahor believes that will be the cause of Everton losing at the Etihad.
Agbonlahor said, “I think they [Man City] win comfortably. Everton will put up a good fight defensively; I do like the fight they do show.

“But sometimes, going to the Etihad, it is hard to get out. Looking at the clock: 17 minutes, 19 minutes, 21 minutes. You are like ‘ugh’, getting absolutely pumped.”
Everton must be patient against Manchester City
Everton will no doubt be without the ball for much of the game against Manchester City, but they must be patient and not take unnecessary risks in hopes of scoring.
The Citizens can and will pounce on any errors. The Toffees will have their chances to counterattack, but maintaining their defensive shape will be key if they want to get a result.
The constant moving from side to side will tire out the players, and David Moyes will also need to be wise with his substitutions.
Pep Guardiola will be without Rodri on Saturday, and that will be a major boost in Everton’s chances of getting any points in Manchester.
