Jeff Stelling can’t believe what has happened to one Everton player recently

Everton winger Jack Grealish has made a sensational start to the Premier League season.

No player across the entire division has more assists than Jack Grealish’s four so far, so it’s fair to say his loan move from Manchester City has been a success.

Everton manager David Moyes has even admitted he’s been surprised at just how good Grealish has been.

“He is even better than I thought,” Moyes admitted back in August.

With that said, Jeff Stelling has been left in disbelief at what has happened to him recently.

Jeff Stelling can’t believe Jack Grealish isn’t in the England squad
Quite remarkably, Grealish has created nearly double the number of chances of any other English winger in the Premier League.

“As it stands right now, no. You know, I wouldn’t have him (Wharton) starting there. But to not have him in the squad… well, that is breathtaking. Almost as breathtaking as it is not to have Bellingham in the squad or Foden in the squad or Jack Grealish in the squad as well.”

What has Thomas Tuchel said about Jack Grealish
Speaking earlier this month, England boss Thomas Tuchel admitted that Grealish will have to accept his decision whether he likes it or not.

“There is also no problem with Phil Foden or Jack Grealish either,” Tuchel said.

“This is the decision, if they like it or not. They know my appreciation, they know I clearly see and observe how good Phil is at the moment for Manchester City.

“Jack knows that I see how influential he is for Everton and is on the way to being the best version of himself. Jude knows he is a special player. He knows that I know he is a special player.

“So, they have to accept it and nothing changes this decision against them or for the other players. It does not change my appreciation for their talent and personality.”

Grealish has three more games to stake his claim to Tuchel before the next international break in November.
