James Garner is coming good for Everton under David Moyes after his struggles at Manchester United.
The 24-year-old was considered a promising prospect at Old Trafford, but never really got an opportunity to shine in M16.
Garner shone against Crystal Palace in the Premier League on 5 October, as the Blues came away with a 2-1 victory after a stoppage-time winner from Jack Grealish.
With Vitalii Mykolenko’s injury concerns at the Hill Dickinson Stadium, the midfielder has also been deployed at left-back on a few occasions to good effect, and the Merseyside outfit have an obvious priority on their hands.

Idrissa Gueye has been pivotal for Moyes, with the Merseysiders desperate to tie him down to a new contract in the summer.
However, the 36-year-old arguably doesn’t have many years left in top-flight football, and it wouldn’t be surprising to see him leave as a free agent next summer.
