David Moyes is already preparing for the upcoming transfer windows despite Everton’s good start to the season.
The Toffees brought in numerous big signings in the summer, with the addition of Jack Grealish at the Hill Dickinson Stadium being the most impressive.
As a result, rumours are starting to circulate as the Toffees look to return to the European fold. Yet, this could spell disaster for Dwight McNeil.

Dwight McNeil is surely finished at Everton amid Ansu Fati rumours
McNeil is no longer a first-choice player at the Toffees, with the winger’s status in the squad being downgraded by Moyes.

This is despite McNeil being labelled as ‘fantastic’ last campaign for Everton, being a key player until his injury.
This season, the 25-year-old has only featured once in the Premier League and is often an unused substitute.
Even when given a chance in the Carabao Cup, McNeil was awful against Wolves, as the visitors were rightly knocked out of the competition.

Fati did have a loan spell at Brighton in the 2023-24 campaign, but this was not a success
Now, with rumours linking Everton to Ansu Fati, Moyes is surely preparing for McNeil’s time at the Hill Dickinson Stadium to come to an end.
The winger can’t get into the team as it is, and if Fati is added to the squad, he may not even get on the bench.

With players such as Jack Grealish, Tyler Dibling and Iliman Ndiaye already in front of him, surely if the Monaco loanee is brought in, an exit will be facilitated in the summer.
How good is Ansu Fati?
If Everton were to bring in Fati, it would be an incredible feat.
While the winger had a rotten time on loan to Brighton a couple of seasons ago, he has been excellent in Ligue 1 this season for Monaco.
To date, he has netted six times in five games in all competitions, including one past Club Brugge in the Champions League.
With the winger still being 22 years old, he also still has plenty of time to keep improving and reach the potential that was once expected of him.
