Everton may already be considering some further attacking additions ahead of the January transfer window.
David Moyes and his side now have some questions to answer over the coming days with their game against West Ham United on Monday.
Goals have been at a premium over the last three games across all competitions for Everton.
Having landed Thierno Barry from Villarreal, Moyes was open to signing another striker during the summer transfer window.

Just weeks on from the market shutting, the Toffees have been told how much they’d have to pay to sign the striker in January.
According to Africa Foot, FC Midtjylland would be open to selling Dju for a fee in the region of €20m (£17.5m).
There is a belief that the Danish outfit are not expecting to keep hold of their 21-year-old forward.
Dju’s stock around Europe is said to be rising as he continues to find the back of the net with eight goals in eight league appearances this season.

Everton News understands that Everton are monitoring Josh Sargent from Norwich City ahead of the January window.
Moyes may not want to admit it just yet, but Everton’s strikers need to show a lot more if fans are going to be able to put their trust in them going forward.

What David Moyes said about Everton’s strikers
It has been suggested that those inside Everton are excited about Barry and the potential the youngster has.
However, he does not yet look like a striker who can lead the line for Everton.
That will be a worry given Moyes admitted to being disappointed in Beto earlier in the summer, and he has only scored one goal in the league since that comment.
Speaking to the media on Friday, Moyes hit back at a question on the form of his two strikers.
“Well, I think the team is firing. I think the team has been firing really well. Maybe the two people you are talking about haven’t scored as many as we’d like,” he replied.
“I think Beto has a couple of goals which isn’t a bad start. We hope we can add to that and score more.”
