Everton have struggled for years to find a striker who can consistently find the back of the net.
Summer signing Thierno Barry has also struggled at Everton, and is yet to score for the Toffees as he looks to adapt to his new surroundings.
However, things could have been vastly different for David Moyes if he had focused on his other targets this summer.

The former Rangers attacker was looking to leave Ibrox after a stunning first season in Scotland.
However, the Toffees’ interest in the Morocco international cooled as the 22-year-old eventually moved to Lille for £10.4million.
Since then, Igamane has had an excellent start at the French giants, scoring twice from the bench in three matches, with Lille currently fifth in Ligue 1.
The attacker netted both of these on his debut against Lorient, with Sofascore on 25 September showing that Igamane was excellent throughout his short time on the pitch.

Given Everton’s current woes up top, Moyes is surely regretting not taking a gamble on the attacker.
For £10.4m, the 22-year-old was surely worth the gamble and had already adapted to UK football from his time in Scotland.
On top of this, Igamane has plenty of potential and could easily be worth triple the fee Lille paid for him in a couple of years.
David Moyes has to correct Everton’s scoring woes in January
If Everton continue to be blunt in front of goal, Moyes must sign a striker in January.
It is vital that the Toffees can fix their scoring issues as soon as possible, as it could end up costing Everton European qualification at the end of the season.
With Beto and Barry struggling to find their feet in Moyes’ system, the Scotsman may consider losing one of the stars to help bring in a replacement.
If so, Everton should look to sign someone who is guaranteed to find the net on a consistent basis, rather than take another risk.
