Everton head into the Merseyside Derby this weekend full of confidence after a bright start to the new Premier League season.
David Moyes’ side sit in sixth place, having won two and drawn one of their opening four Premier League games.
Everton were well worthy of the victory against a Europa League side in Aston Villa on the weekend, so clearly they’ve gone up a couple of levels from last season.
The Toffees’ summer signings Jack Grealish and Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall are already making a big impact, and as such, there is a belief they can get a result at Anfield on Saturday.
However, Opta’s supercomputer‘s has made a pretty baffling prediction for the game.

Supercomputer predicts Everton vs Liverpool
Former Liverpool striker Robbie Fowler reckons Arne Slot’s men will beat Everton by three goals to nil to maintain their 100% record.
The supercomputer is also expecting the same outcome, as it’s given Liverpool a mammoth 71% chance of winning.
A draw is 16% and quite surprisingly, the Toffees are only 12% likely to beat their fierce rivals, despite heading into the game in perhaps the best shape they’ve been in since the 2020/21 season.

That year, they went to Anfield and won 2-0 under the stewardship of Carlo Ancelotti, so Moyes’ side should believe they can replicate that, especially since the Reds have shown frailty at the back.

Slot’s side won 1-0 last time out, and in the reverse fixture back in February, James Tarkowski scored a dramatic late equaliser to send Goodison Park into complete raptures.
Abdoulaye Doucoure and Curtis Jones were both sent off at the full-time whistle, so it was a very chaotic affair.
This one promises to be another cracking game for the neutrals, but Moyes will be hoping to stifle the Reds and keep the likes of Alexander Isak, Florian Wirtz and Mohamed Salah at bay.
