Everton confident two more players will renew their contracts after….

Jordan Pickford has been an ever-present for Everton and England over the last eight years, so he’s certainly worthy of such a prestigious contract.

David Moyes and his chiefs are also looking to extend the deals of two other players, as Graeme Bailey exclusively reveals to Everton News.

Everton looking to extend Vitali Mykolenko and James Garner’s contracts
Everton have seven players out of contract next summer, and among those are two regulars in Vitaliy Mykolenko and James Garner.

Moyes was asked about Garner’s contract situation last week, and he replied: “I don’t know if he’s in the last year of his contract. I’m sure there will be a clause in there where we’ve got him so, I couldn’t even answer that question.”

Now, Everton News have learned that contract talks have taken place with Garner since the summer, and Mykolenko is also in discussions to extend his stay on Merseyside.

“I believe that once Pickford is finalised, there is a good chance that Mykolenko and Garner could be next, both have had conversations since the summer about extensions,” Bailey told the site.

James Tarkowski should also get a renewal
James Tarkowski is one of the other seven first-teamers whose contract is up next summer, so he should be in talks to renew his deal.

Tarkowski, 32, still has a lot left to offer, and whilst he may not be first choice in the 2026/27 season, his experience and reliability would make him a good option to have in the squad.
