Erling Haaland says there is something a ‘bit weird’ about Everton this season

With the new season well underway, Man City striker Erling Haaland has admitted there is something happening at Everton which doesn’t sit right.
Everton have made a solid start to proceedings in the Premier League, and it’s certainly odd to see the position of the Toffees this early on in the campaign.

There is a great feeling at the club, and even Farhad Moshiri is pleased with Everton at the moment.
The Toffees are finally acting like the club they once were again, and that comes down to the brilliant work of David Moyes.
But even despite their success, Man City forward Haaland has pointed out something ‘weird’ that is occurring at the club.

Erling Haaland finds it ‘weird’ that Jack Grealish is playing for Everton
The transfer window presented a strong platform to build on for Moyes, and the signing of Jack Grealish has played a big role.
Grealish has been told he’s at his peak, even despite his top performances at Aston Villa in the past, as his quality has been resurfaced.
However, although Haaland is pleased with his excellent start, the Norwegian seems unsettled about the winger at Everton.
“It’s sad that he left us, I cannot joke around with him every single day… but, that’s football!” Haaland said to Men In Blazers.
“You see him now; he’s happy, he’s playing every game – and he’s performing, which is amazing to see. I’m super happy for him!
“Everton are lucky that they have him. I wish him all the best, I hope he continues with this! It’s a bit weird to see him there, but again that’s football.”
The 25-year-old will know that Grealish completed the move for the better of his career, and it’s certainly paying off, as he’s putting his former teammates to shame.

Jack Grealish has created more chances than any Man City player at Everton
After four assists in his opening four games, the 30-year-old has flown out of the blocks on Merseyside.
He seems to have regained his freedom whilst playing football, and there is a desire at the club for Grealish to sign permanently at Everton.
It seems like a no-brainer at the moment, especially after the winger is doing something a lot better than Man City players so far this season.

Grealish is showing why City signed him for £100 million, as it’s proving so far that loaning him out was a mistake, but it was the best decision the winger could have made.
